What people use it for
A number you do not have to own
-
Sign up without your own number
A shop, a forum, a marketplace asks for a phone before it will let you in. Give it one that is not tied to your name, your bank or your contacts.
-
Test your own SMS flow
Check that your onboarding actually delivers, from the networks your users are really on, in the countries you are launching in. Order the numbers from the API.
-
Verify from another country
Services that only accept a local number stop being a wall. Pick the country, get a number on a real network there, read the code.
-
Keep a burner off your bill
No contract, no monthly line, no second handset. You pay for the codes you receive and nothing else.
Why SimSms
Built for people who would rather not hand over a phone number
-
No KYC, ever
No ID, no selfie, no document upload, no phone number of your own. An email address is the whole sign-up.
-
Crypto only
Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Tether (ERC-20), Tether (TRC-20), Litecoin, TRON, Solana. We never touch card rails, so there is nothing to charge back and nobody to ask.
-
Pay per code, not per month
You are charged when the SMS arrives. If it does not arrive, the money goes back to your balance. No subscription, no minimum.
-
Real numbers, real networks
Numbers on mobile networks across 145 countries, from the United States and the UK to Indonesia, Argentina and Nigeria.
-
Live stock, not a stale page
How many lines are free, on which network, at what price: read from the catalogue at the moment you load the page. Nothing here was typed in by hand months ago.
-
A REST API that fits in a page
Order a number, poll for the code, release it. Token auth, JSON in and out, no SDK to install.
For developers
Your balance and every price, in one call
Read your balance and the live price of any service in any country from your own code. Token in a header, JSON out.
# what the balance holds
curl -s "https://simsms.com/api/v1/balance" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SIMSMS_KEY"
# { "ok": true, "balance": 42.50, "codes_at_cheapest": 425 }
# price and stock for one service in one country
curl -s "https://simsms.com/api/v1/pricing?service=telegram&country=england" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SIMSMS_KEY"
# { "ok": true, "price": 0.84, "stock": 61213 }
Create your key in the account menu. Reading works today; taking a number over the API does not yet.
Questions
The things people ask before their first order
Do I need to give you any identity documents?
No. There is no KYC step anywhere on this site. You create an account with an email address, top up in crypto, and order. We do not ask for a name, an address, a document or a phone number of your own.
What happens if the code never arrives?
You are not charged. The money is held while the number is active and released back to your balance if no SMS arrives before the window closes. You only ever pay for a code you actually received.
Can I use the same number twice?
A one-time code number is yours for a single activation on a single service. If you need the number to stay reachable — to receive later codes or messages over days or weeks — that is what long-term rental is for.
Why is the same service cheaper on one network than another?
Because networks buy and recycle their lines differently, and a line that is plentiful costs less than one that is scarce. That is why every network is listed separately with its own price and its own free lines, rather than hidden behind a single average.
Which coins do you accept?
Bitcoin, Monero, Ether, Tether on ERC-20 and on TRC-20, Litecoin, TRON and Solana. Balances are held in USD, so the price you see is the price you pay whatever the coin did between the deposit and the order.
Is there a minimum top-up?
Yes, $20.00 per top-up. Below that, network fees take a large share of what you send — a deposit smaller than the fee that carried it helps nobody. There is no maximum in practice, and nothing expires.
Do you keep the codes I receive?
Messages stay on your dashboard while the order is open and are removed shortly after it closes. We keep no copy beyond that, and no message content appears in our logs.
Can I resell this?
Yes, and there is no separate tier or sales call for it: the prices you see are the prices you pay at any volume. The API reads your balance and the live catalogue today, with ordering next. Get in touch once you are running enough traffic that a dedicated rate would make sense.
Pick a service. Pick a country. Read the code.
No document upload, no card, no subscription. Top up once and spend it a code at a time.
