Before you buy
What a one-time number actually is
How long do I have to receive the code?
Twenty minutes. The number is held for you the moment you buy it, and most codes land in seconds. If nothing arrives before the window closes, the charge is reversed automatically and the money is back on your balance — there is nothing to claim and nobody to ask.
Is this a real mobile number, or a VoIP line?
A real mobile line on a real network in the country you picked. It carries that country’s dialling prefix and behaves like any local number for the service you are signing up to. Services that refuse VoIP and relay numbers are the reason we do not sell them.
Can I choose the network, or is one picked for me?
You choose. Once the service and the country are set, the third step lists every network that has lines free, with its price and how many are available. They are not interchangeable — a service can be reliable on one network and refused on another in the same country — so the choice is yours to make and costs nothing to get wrong.
Does the number stay mine after the code arrives?
No. A one-time number is the inbox of a line you borrow for a single message; once the code is delivered the line goes back to the network and can be issued to somebody else. If you need a number that keeps receiving — a second code later, a password reset next month — that is what a rental is for.
Why does the same service cost more in one country than another?
Because the line does. What a network charges for a verification line depends on how scarce those lines are locally and how often the service burns through them, and that varies enormously between countries. We apply the same margin everywhere, so the differences you see on the page are the differences in what the numbers actually cost.
Do I need an account and a balance before I can buy?
Yes, and that is the whole sign-up: an email address and a password, then a crypto top-up of at least $20.00. No name, no document, no phone number of your own. The balance exists because a number is charged the moment a code lands, and there is no card on file to charge instead.
Pick a service. Pick a country. Read the code.
No document upload, no card, no subscription. Top up once and spend it a code at a time.
